Sharing excitement about chemistry has led a number of Carnegie Mellon Chemistry faculty to become involved in curriculum development, educational research, and outreach projects.

The department supports hands-on activities in residential summer programs, year-round workshops for teachers, and school visits.
Summer Research Opportunities: Partnership with CUNY
CUNY and Carnegie Mellon have partnered, with funding from the USDA, to develop an exciting summer research program for highly motivated CUNY students to do research in the Biological Sciences or Chemistry Department
