Faculty Search in the area of Biophysics/Biophysical Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position at the junior level in the area of Biophysics/Biophysical Chemistry. The successful applicant will benefit from the Department’s highly collaborative atmosphere, interdisciplinary approach, and its strengths in core areas of experimental and theoretical biophysics. The Molecular Biosensor and Imaging Center, the NIH National Technology Center for Networks and Pathways, and the Pittsburgh NMR Center for Biomedical Research also provide attractive opportunities for collaboration. Candidates are expected to build a vigorous externally funded research program and exhibit a very strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
