Faculty Search in the Area of Synthetic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the junior level in the area of synthetic chemistry. Special attention will be given to applicants with interests in soft materials related to energy, sustainability and catalysis. The successful applicant will benefit from Carnegie Mellon's highly collaborative environment spanning Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Engineering Departments. Candidates are expected to build a vigorous externally funded research program and exhibit a very strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
