Chemist Rongchao Jin Receives a Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award (Press Release, May 24, 2011)

In 2011, three university-wide education awards were won by Mellon College of Science faculty:

• The Award for Outstanding Contributions to Academic Advising and Mentoring: Karen H. Stump, Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies and Laboratories, Department of Chemistry
• The William H. and Frances S. Ryan Award for Meritorious Teaching: Bruce Armitage, Professor, Department of Chemistry and Co-director of the Center for Nucleic Acids Science and Technology
• Mark Gelfand Service Award for Educational Outreach: Carrie Doonan, Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Laboratories, Department of Biological Sciences
