Vishnu Chandra

Undergraduate Student

I am a fourth year student in the Biological Sciences at CMU. I became interested in biophysical techniques after taking a physical chemistry course which allowed me to look at biological systems and macromolecules from a new perspective. I am currently working on guanine riboswitch using optical tweezers and collaborating with other graduate students in the lab. As an aspiring physician scientist, I hope to someday apply biophysical theory and methodologies in a clinical setting.
