Muwen (Ben) Kong

Graduate Student

I am from Hangzhou, Zhejiang in southeast China. I obtained B.A. (Physics) from Knox College and M.S. (Physics) from CMU. Currently, I am in my second year in the joint PhD program, Molecular Biophysics and Structural Biology at Pitt/CMU. My research interests include RNA and protein folding at the single-molecule level and molecular motors, particularly those involve in the replication, repair and transcription processes. I hope that someday, I will be able to translate my skills into the medical research and make a contribution to our understanding in the field.
