Chemistry Department Student Advisory Committee (SAC). An advisory committee called the Chemistry SAC (Student Advisory Committee) is formed each year with representatives from each class. This committee provides the Department with student input for proposed curriculum changes, new programs, and other matters of concern to chemistry majors. It also organizes outside events and arranges informal seminars with faculty members and other outside speakers. The group holds informal meetings complete with refreshments with all the chemistry majors about twice a month in the evenings during the academic year.
