The awards are handed out during a banquet each spring.
1. Freshman Chemistry Achievement Award

To a freshman who shows outstanding talents in the field of chemistry
2. American Institute Of Chemists Award
Certificate, membership in AIC and Subscription to "The Chemist"
To an outstanding senior, nominated by the faculty, based upon a demonstrated record of leadership, ability, character, and scholastic achievement
3. ACS Analytical Chemistry Division Award
8 month subscription to Analytical Chemistry and membership in the division
To an outstanding junior chemistry major showing an achievement in analytical skills
4. Merck Index Award
Merck Index with imprinted name
To someone planning a career in the health professions, based upon scholastic achievement in chemistry
5. Warner Prize for Freshmen
$50 and name on plaque
To an outstanding freshman selected by the faculty
6. Warner Prize For Sophomores
$50 and name on plaque
To an outstanding sophomore selected by the faculty
7. Warner Prize For Juniors
$50 and name on plaque
To an outstanding sophomore selected by the faculty.
8. Warner Prize For Seniors
$100 and name on a plaque
To an outstanding senior selected by the faculty
9. Departmental Award For Sophomores
$50 and name on plaque
To an outstanding sophomore selected by the faculty
10. Departmental Award For Juniors
$50 award and name on plaque
To an outstanding junior selected by the faculty
11. Departmental Award For Seniors
1 - $100 award and name on plaque
One to a senior with an outstanding academic record and superior leadership skills
12. College Award Of The Society For Analytical Chemists Of Pittsburgh
Certificate of achievement, $300, $l50 to school for chemistry books, and name on plaque
13. Lubrizol Foundation Award
$500 cash award and name on plaque, normally given to the graduating senior with the best academic record
14. Lubrizol Scholarship Award
Name on plaque, $1,500
To a sophomore, junior, or senior based solely on the student's scholastic ability.
15. Southwick Scholarship Award
$1,000 scholarship and name on plaque
16. Paul E. Snyder Scholarship Award
This fund provides a scholarship for an academically talented chemistry student
17. Graduate Teaching Award
2–$200 awards and names on plaque
Given four outstanding graduate teaching assistants based upon student evaluations and nominations from the faculty
