Symposium Banquet

The banquet will be held on Tuesday night at the world famous Longwood
Gardens. The symposium participants can walk around and enjoy the
beautiful flowers and plants. We shall start dinner at 7:00 pm at the
Conservatory.

Bus transportation will be arranged to take symposium participants
from the Clayton Hall Conference Center to Longwood. If you have your
own car, you can get there yourselves. They will allow us to enter at
6:00 pm.

Call for Papers

Submit Your Abstracts – Podium or Poster by date to be announced

We are accepting abstracts in all fields on polymer analysis and characterization; a partial listing will appear under the Technical Program. Topics will include fundamental studies and applications.

Abstracts should be submitted for invited oral lectures or contributed poster presentations.

We will assume that the primary author will be the presenter.

Abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft® Word format and be no longer than two pages; see below for a format template. Please email your abstract to the Conference Chair per the address below.

POSTER SIZE:   Portrait: 95 x 115cm (Please do not exceed, as this is the size of the available poster boards).

 

 

Poster presentations in all areas of polymer analysis and characterization are invited.

Abstracts (Podium and Poster) must be received by
date to be announced
for inclusion in the Meeting Book of Abstracts

All Abstracts will be included in the Conference Notes to be provided to participants. Each poster will be allotted a space of 95 (width) X 115 (height) cm on a free-standing poster board. Please use the following format, to insure uniformity of appearance in the abstract booklet.

     The text of the abstract goes here: it must be single spaced, with good quality black printing on standard size white paper.  The abstract will appear in the final program as submitted.  The abstract should be no more than two pages, including tables, graphs and other figures.  All text and figures should be in the portrait (vertical) format.
     The abstract may be submitted by e-mail or on a diskette by mail. Please use Microsoft Word or Word Perfect for Windows; all figures must be embedded in the document.
     The use of Times New Roman, 12 pt, is preferred.

Publication

Papers based on the main lectures and posters presented at ISPAC-2008 may be submitted for inclusion in a special Symposium issue of the International Journal of Polymer Analysis and Characterization (IJPAC). Contributions, which will receive a peer review, will be accepted by the Editor-in-Chief of IJPAC, Josef Janca (jjanca@univ-lr.fr) exclusively as electronic files, e.g., on a floppy disk, CD, etc., or as an e-mail attachment. The special issue will be published as soon as possible, with a target in late 2008 or early 2009. The Instructions for Authors may be found in issues of IJPAC, or online at the URL: www.taylorandfrancis.com.

Contributions should not exceed 15 pages double-spaced using font Times Roman 12pt, including figures, tables, and references.

The final deadline for manuscript submission (to be considered for this symposium issue) is to be announced.

Attendees are responsible for booking their hotels and for all charges.
