Postdoctoral Research Associate
email: bholt@andrew.cmu.edu

Dr. Holt received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from CMU studying sub-cellular localization and processing of single wall carbon nanotubes. After switching to Materials Science and Engineering but remaining in his PhD group for a brief stint as a postdoc, he then joined The Sydlik Lab in the Department of Chemistry. His biomedical engineering background and expertise in carbon nanotube/cell interaction will complement the group’s expertise in materials and polymer chemistry as he works on the project to develop osteomimetic graphene composite scaffolds for bone regeneration.
