Lab Tour

Lab Tour

We are equiped to do air-sensitive reactions. We have several fume hoods and a glove box.

In our lab, we have several major instruments to characterize our molecules:

  • Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC):
    1) Waters 2690 Separation Module with Waters 2487 Dual ª Absorbance Detector
    2) Waters 717plus Autosampler with Waters 2414 Refractive Index Detector
  • Gas Chromatography (GC):
    1) Agilent 6890 GC with Agilent 5973 Mass Selective Detector (MS)
    2) Shimadzu GC-17A GC with Flame Ionization Detector (FID)
  • Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer (Varian)

We also have major instruments to characterize the electrical properties of our conducting polymers:

  • Ambios Technology XP-2 Profilometer
  • Agilent 4155C Semiconductor Parameter Analyzer
  • Micromanipulator Model S6 Probe Station with Thermal Chuck
  • G3P-8” Spin Coater (Cookson Electronics SCS)
  • Signatone 4-point probe station with HP 6632A power supply, HP 3457 multimeter and Keithley 196 multimeter
