¡¤ synthesis of ordered nanoporous materials (silicas, organosilicas, carbons, polymers, etc.) using approaches based on supramolecular templating and nanoscale replication.
¡¤ application of ordered nanoporous materials as templates for nanostructures synthesis, hosts for nanoobjects, and immobilization media for biomolecules for catalysis, sensing and pharmaceutical applications.
¡¤ development of approaches for tailoring of the pore diameter, pore entrance size, framework composition, surface functionality, and structure type of ordered nanoporous materials.
¡¤ development of methods for accurate determination of the specific surface area, pore diameter, phase composition, and for characterization of surface properties of nanoporous materials.
¡¤ application of controlled polymerizations in the synthesis of nanostructured materials.
