Evidently, there was a bug in the version of the Virtual Lab that we posted for your use with Bonus Homework 1. This resulted in the necessary reaction between a base pair and the synthetic unknown only occuring when the user mixed the two in a particular order.

This has now been remedied, and I've placed the corrected version of the lab at the same location (http://ir.chem.cmu.edu/chem106/assignments/vlab_dna/).

I apologize for all inconveniences that this has caused.

Due to this problem, the due date has been extended to Friday, March 3rd.
