 Instrument Reservations


**PLEASE READ FIRST**

  • Users must be trained before their first session on any CMA instrument.  Please contact a lab assistant to schedule an appointment.

  • You must make a reservation to use any CMA instrument.  To make a reservation first select the instrument calendar below, then the desired date of use.  Confirm that the instrument is not already reserved for the time you plan to use it.

  • In the calendar text field, enter your "last name/PI last name" and then select your start and end times in 24-hour format from the drop-down menus.  Please use full names (not abbreviations).

  • Once entered in the system, you cannot edit your calendar entryTo cancel a reservation or part of one, make another entry for the same day and time to be canceled with "CANCEL/last name" in the text field.  Please cancel ASAP as a courtesy to other users.

  • Log usage time in the MS Excel instrument log located on the computer desktop of each instrument's PC.  Be sure to list your charge number (Oracle or PO) in your entry.

  • If you encounter any problems while reserving or using CMA instruments, please notify the lab assistant.
